Event Ticketing / Access

How/when will I receive my ticket?

You will receive an email shortly after you purchase with your ticket details. (Note that you will also receive a separate email with your order receipt.)

If you do not receive the email within fifteen minutes of ordering (or within five minutes if purchasing close to the event start-time), please reach out on our contact page and we will respond shortly (very shortly if the event is about to begin). 

How does the ticket work?

The email address you use to checkout is your ticket. The ticketing email you receive will include a link to the event and instructions. When you click that link, you will land on a log in page. Enter your name and the email address you used to purchase, and you will be able to log in. 

Help! I haven’t received my ticket!

Help! My ticket isn’t working!

If your email address is not admitting you to the event, please reach out on our contact page and we will respond shortly (very shortly if the event is about to begin). If you didn’t receive an order confirmation / ticketing email, there may have been a typo in your email address, or you used a different email address than expected. Contact us as soon as possible with your name and billing/shipping address and we will help you out.

How many people will my ticket admit?

The tickets generally admit one user (and you’re welcome to have as many guests in person with you as you like). Some events may allow multiple people to access via the same ticket (if this is the case, it will be stated on the event page).

Can I change the email address on my ticket?

For security purposes, we can only change the email address on your ticket if there was a typo in the email address. However, the email address only serves as your unique token to access the event, and the user does not need to have access to the email account to access the event, as long as they have the event link.

 

Checkout & Shipping

I’m purchasing as a gift. How should I do that?

At checkout, be sure to use the recipient’s shipping address so they receive the book after the event. We recommend using your email address to checkout so that you receive the receipt, but please note that the gift recipient will then use your email address to access the event (they will not need access to the email--you will just need to send them the link that you receive).  

You can also input their email address directly into checkout, but note that they will receive an emailed receipt as well as the ticket information.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we generally ship internationally, unless otherwise stated on a specific event. When you go to checkout, you will find international shipping options.

When will my order ship?

Orders generally ship within 1-2 weeks after the event, if not sooner. If your order contains a signed copy or merch items (which would be specifically stated on the ticketing package you choose), there could be a longer handling time to allow the author time to sign copies or for the merch to arrive (this handling time could be as long as 4-12 weeks in extreme circumstances, but will generally be much shorter).

How will I know when my order has shipped?

You will receive an email with a tracking number to the email address you used to checkout.

 

Returns / Refunds

I received my order and there is an issue with it, what should I do?

Please reach out to us via our Contact page with a description of the issue, and our customer service team will be in touch shortly to assist!

I no longer want the book. Can I return it?

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns, so all sales are final.

I wasn’t able to join the event! Can I have a refund?

We do not guarantee that you will be able to access the event at the designated time, or that the event will start on time and proceed without issue. You are purchasing access to a piece of content which debuts at a certain time, but is viewable on-demand after the designated time. We do guarantee that you will be able to view the event on-demand as soon as possible. In the event of the event being fully cancelled, we will contact you with refund information. 

The event was postponed. Can I have a refund?

The availability of refunds will depend on whether the event is rescheduled, as well as other circumstances. Please refer to the postponement email that you receive for any details about the availability of refunds.
